"Prebooked, but it still messed up our plans"
I booked ahead thinking it would make everything easy, and to be fair, the reservation was mostly correct. But the parts that weren’t right threw off our plans and made the whole thing more stressful than it needed to be. Frustrating when you try to plan ahead and still end up dealing with issues.

I booked it online and it was quick, plus the confirmation came through right away. I guess that means everything worked fine, so yeah, no real hassle from my side

"Cancelled and Still Waiting on My Refund"
I cancelled my order thinking the refund would come through quickly, but I’m still waiting. Compared to other places I’ve dealt with, refunds usually show up within a few days, so this has been frustrating. I just wish the process was faster or at least better communicated.

"Booked ahead but still couldn’t park"
I booked a space on NCP thinking it would save me the stress, but when I got there I still ended up driving around for ages because there were no spaces free. The staff weren’t much help either, and I nearly missed my appointment because of it. I also tried getting support afterwards, but the response felt like a copy-paste answer that didn’t actually address what happened. what’s the point of booking in advance if the car park can still be full? Really frustrating.

"Price caught me off guard"
I used NCP for a few hours while I was in town, the price properly surprised me. At first I was relieved to find somewhere easy to park, but that feeling disappeared quickly when I saw what it cost. I know city parking is never exactly cheap, but this felt a bit much for what was basically just a normal car park.

The spaces were fine and paying was straightforward, so I can’t say it was a terrible experience. Still, I left feeling a bit annoyed because it just didn’t feel like good value. I’d probably only use it again if I was stuck and had no better option...

In my experience, the opening hours were confusing, and when I actually needed access, it wasn’t working. I ended up wasting time trying to figure it out and eventually had to park somewhere else

"Felt Like the Rules Kept Changing"
I ended up paying the charge, but it still didn’t feel completely fair. It kind of felt like the goalposts kept moving, and by the time I figured out what was expected, I was already being hit with a notice. Just a bit frustrating overall

"I’ve reached out to customer service..."
I’ve reached out to customer service and, once again, nobody got back to me. It’s getting tiring dealing with the same lack of response every time. Really disappointing service.

"Staff weren’t helpful this time"
I’ve shopped here before and usually had a decent experience, but this visit was really disappointing. I asked a staff member for help and basically got shrugged off, then ignored. It felt like nobody wanted to deal with my question, which was frustrating

"Barriers mostly work, ANPR is a bit iffy"
I’ve used NCP a few times now and it’s been mostly alright, like nothing too dramatic. The barrier normally goes up fine, but one time it just sort of sat there not doing much, and then cars were building up behind me which made me feel a bit awkward and stressed.

The ANPR thing is a bit hit and miss as well, in my experience anyway. It got my reg when I went in, but then on the way out it didn’t seem to read it properly, so I had to press the help button. The staff did sort it out, but when you’re in a rush it’s not really what you want, honestly. Not awful, just needs to be more dependable

"Got Completely Turned Around in the Car Park"
I parked there thinking it would be a quick in-and-out, but it turned into a bit of a mission. After I’d finished what I came for, I headed back in and realised I had no idea where I was supposed to go. The signs for the exit were really unclear, and the payment information didn’t help much either. I ended up walking around in circles, trying to figure out the right route back to my car, getting more annoyed by the minute. For what they charge, I’d expect something as basic as clear directions to be sorted. I’ll be avoiding NCP in future if I can.

"Too dark to feel comfortable"
I used an NCP car park in the evening, probably around 8 or 9pm, and the lighting was bad. A few parts were okay, but other areas were almost pitch black, especially near the stairs.

It was hard to make out the bay lines, and I nearly missed a curb walking back to the car. I was only there for maybe 10 minutes, but it didn’t feel especially safe or comfortable.

The price wasn’t awful, maybe about average for this kind of car park, but they really need to sort the lighting out. I’d use it again in the daytime, but probably not after dark.

"Dirty stairwells, broken lift, and the same canned apologies"
The car park itself was easy enough to find, but the stairwell was grim. It smelled bad and there was litter all over the place, which isn’t what you expect when you’re paying those prices. The lift was out of order again too, and there wasn’t even a clear sign to let people know. What makes it more frustrating is that whenever this kind of thing happens, you just get the usual canned apology instead of anything actually improving. It really needs to be looked after better

"Way too tight"
The layout feels awkward and the bays are just too small. Kind of a hassle.

"Didn’t feel safe and wasn’t sure what to do"
I parked here once and didn’t feel great about it. Some areas were really poorly lit, and I didn’t notice any visible security around, which made me uneasy the whole time I was gone. What made it more frustrating was that there weren’t clear instructions on what to do if there was an issue or who to contact, so I just felt kind of on my own. For the price, I expected it to feel a lot safer and more organized. I wouldn’t use this place again.

"app made Parking more stressful"
Tried to pay through the app and it just sat there loading forever, then randomly kicked me out. Had to stand in the car park messing around with it for ages. really not ideal when you’re already in a rush.

"Handy enough and did the job"
I ended up using the NCP as it was the closest one to where I had to be, so that made things easy. It saved me a bit of a walk, which was the main thing really. The spaces felt a little tight when I got in there, but it wasn’t anything too bad. Price was a bit much for what it was, but overall it was fine and did what I needed it to do.

"Disabled parking was okay overall"
The lift was working fine, which was a relief. The disabled bays did feel a bit too far from where I needed to go, though maybe I just caught it on an awkward day. Overall it was okay, just not as convenient as I’d hoped
